Gwangyang (Kwangyang)

Gwangyang Container Terminal opened in 1998, located 160 km west of Pusan. It could potentially become the second biggest container port in Korea as the government has launched the long-term plan for a 'two port system' in Pusan and Gwangyang. Favorable is its cheaper, and closer connections to China and the main inland points than Pusan. Located within the terminal, the CFS, measuring 8,628㎡ is equipped to handle approximately 14,400 TEU per year.
