Hanjin Shipping Bulk Sales & Marketing Group is comprised of five teams, with
the Bulk Planning Team, the Bulk Dedicated Business Team, the Dry Bulk
Business Team 1, the Dry Bulk Business Team 2 and the Tanker Business Team.
Hanjin Shipping is steadfastly pursuing ways to provide customers with diverse
sophisticated bulk services.
Along with its primary transport of dry cargo, the recent expansion of Hanjin
Shipping’s wet bulk division includes liquid cargoes such as LPG, LNG, Crude
Oil and other petroleum products.
Hanjin Shipping is actively seeking to gain a better balance between its
container and bulk operations (container service currently accounts for 80% of
its operations). In order to achieve this balance and to widen its service
scope, Hanjin Shipping will continue to strengthen its bulk fleet tonnage by
replacing older vessels with the latest dry bulk carriers.
Hanjin Shipping also participates in the European bulk market through a new
joint venture company, Hanjin Eurobulk Ltd, in full cooperation with our UK
partner, Wigham – Richardson Shipbrokers, from June 1, 2004. We hope the
success of this initiative will lead to the expansion of many other areas of
our bulk operation in Europe as well as other parts of the globe.
